I’ve managed to export the mysql database from my old web blog and Import it into Movable Type. about 3 years worth of blogs geeze. Now I’m going to spend a bit of time going though them all making sure the formatting is ok and the links are not too dead.
Right, since it’s all working nice now, I better back it all up before I start changing things. I definately don’t want to have to re-install from scratch. I also better do some reading about Movable Type got to be able to change the layout of the pages a bit because they are starting to get on my nerves a bit.
Hopefully in a few Months I’ll be able to change my DNS entry to point to this site and decomission my old website for good.
