Howto – Usenet binaries with Linux tutorial

Been pointed out to me that I used someone elses work without there consent, sorry for that (took it off as soon as I realised). Most of the stuff on this site is a reminder to myself, saves me trawling newgroups. Anyway, below is a link to a very good article about how to handle usenet binaries with linux.

New running shoes (sad but hey)

I decided after much thinking and the threat of a sports injury (left foot problems, soreness in the instep and the top of my foot) to retire my old running shoes, called Brooks Adrenaline™ GTS 7, I bought them on 04/02/2007 and they have managed 630 good miles. I would definately recommend them.

My new shoes are Mizuno Wave Nirvana 3, damn comfortable. Lets hope they last as long as my last pair 🙂 . After taking some advice from the guy in the shop, I decided to buy a pair sports insoles, he recommended them and said that they usually sort out about 90% of the foot problems that he encounters in the shop, lets hope so. He also mentioned that they last a few years,  good since they were a bit more expensive than I thought £22. Ouch!!
