This weeks long run

The trainings going well this week, this weekends long run was a bit shorter but enjoyable none the less, weather wasn’t the best, windy and uphill on the way back, so the split time was probably not so good.

Next weekend is the first 20 miler of my training, joy 🙂 lets hope the weathers reasonable.

  1. I’ll not be drinking a drop before the 20 mile run this Saturday, that was quite rough for the first six miles on our last run. Hopefully it’s not windy as it’d be good to run the West Linton route…….. to the broken tree! 8.51 is a bit better than I thought, that’s around 3 hours 40 or so for a marathon, but we’d slow down a bit at the end of the marathon I should think.
