This “Howto” only really applies to a single workstation and is a quick and easy solution to backing up your own files, if you were backing up a server with numerous users, you would of course backup to another machine preferably at another physical location on the network.
One of my work collegues (cheers Paul) sent me the link to this, funny as hell, certainly cheered me up on an otherwise boring Wednesday.
Today I ran from Penicuik to the “Broken Tree” just outside West Linton Whoooooooh! scary!, anyway, weather was fine, a bit cold but not too bad. My legs were a bit heavy but I didn’t feel tired at all after the run. I’ll see how I feel tomorrow, after all it usually a day or two after a long run that the tiredness kicks in. About 7 weeks to go until the Paris Marathon and I’m looking forward to it.
Spent a bit of time today upgrading my WordPress plugins
- I’ve upgraded Google XML from 3.0.2 to 3.0.3
- I’ve upgraded NextGen Gallery from 0.74 to 0.82
I did have a problem with the sideshow part of NextGen, but a quick scan about told me that I was missing the file “imagerotator.swf” from my installation directory. All I had to do was download JW Image Rotator, extract the file “imagerotator.swf” and copy it to my nextgen-gallery plugin directory.
cp imagerotator.swf ~/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/
Everything seems to have upgraded without a problem 🙂
My first sunny run this year, fantastic. The course this week was flat and since there was no wind to speak of, I managed to run at a reasonable pace, hence the decent time. Totally different from last weeks snow running, but I’ve got to say I enjoyed both runs for totally different reason, “variety is the spice of life” and all that.
