Last long run before Paris

This weekend, myself and Mark did our last long run in preparation for the Paris Marathon. All went well on the day, the weather ended up being ideal for running (nice and cold) and unusually, it wasn’t raining. We started in Penicuik and ran through West Linton, over the bridge to the “Broken Tree”

Not too bad for a long training run. We’ll have better conditions in Paris! I managed my ten miler today, so not totally busticated. I’ve got Tuesday off running and doing a six miler on Wednesday and Thursday (to Bilston and back), as it’ll be after my freelance work and so dark.

Best of luck on your taper as you get ready for Paris … that’s one race I’d like to do before I get too old to put one foot in front of another.
